Carolina Basketball Museum

Just before entering the museum, you'll pass a plaque honoring the generosity
of the family of The Great Adam Lucas, as well as a very life-like replica
of a lady we assume is his grandmother.

One of the biggest problems with the museum is how quickly the posters become antiquated. Over the offseason, this poster will have to be updated for over half of the items it lists.

When you've been to seventeen Final Fours, it seems a little greedy to try to pass off playing in one that you didn't actually participate in, but that's what seems to be going on here.

One of Dean Smith's lesser known innovations was writing all over the game ball in permanent marker in order to bother the opposing team's shooters.

If you look closely around the five and at the bottom of John Kuester's jersey, you can see where he spilled chocolate on himself at the pregame meal.

On the museum's floor is a marker which commemorates the last time a Carolina sharp shooter actually shot well in the Final Four.

Stillman (large-nosed plaque on left) and Dave (scrawny individual on right) each managed to secure a spot in the Museum's hallowed halls.

It's difficult to convey through pictures exactly how large the shoes of Sean May (left) and Eric Montross (right) are, but using the art of perspective photography, you can see that Sean's feet are larger than a basketball, while Eric's are the same size as Brian Reese's torso.
